5% – we are currently at maximum capacity.
The number of applicants on a waiting list varies from year level to year level and is constantly changing with names being added or deleted. Our waiting list is not a first-come-first-served list – applicants are interviewed according to our enrolment criteria, and therefore it is impossible to forecast how long you may have to wait.
For Years 1-13 February 2020 intake, interviews will take place from Term 3 of 2019. For New Entrants, interviews usually take place between 3-6 months before the child’s fifth birthday. All interviews are subject to space availability and enrolment criteria – if a space is available you will be contacted to arrange a date and time. You may contact the Enrolments Administrator at any time for an update on your child’s application.
For guaranteed processing for the February 2021 intake, applications must be submitted by 31st July 2020 for our Botany & Golflands Campus. Due to the Ministry of Education giving a roll increase at our Mt Albert Campus for the 2021 school year, guaranteed processing for the February 2021 intake will be extended till Friday 25th September 2020.
Once the Application has been processed and checked against our Enrolment Criteria, you will be contacted in due course for an interview should a space become available for your child. After the interview, you will be notified as to whether your child has been accepted. At any stage of the process we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Every year we will email a waitlist response form to applications older than 1 year. It is important you complete this form, along with any updated school reports and change of contact details. If you do not respond to this request your application will be removed and you will need to re-apply for a place at Elim Christian College with a new application form.
