This will be supported by effective integration of eLearning strategies across the curriculum through ongoing professional development focused on raising student achievement.
· Increased understanding by teachers, Principals, students and school communities of the educational benefits of ICT.
· Increased capability of teachers and Principals to use ICT for their own professional learning.
· Empower teachers to achieve / extend eLearning strategies.
The SEOnet Cluster 2007-2009
The cluster ran from 2007 to 2009. It was a successful effort between three local schools in the East Auckland area.
Post 2009
In 2010 and beyond the cluster aims to foster ongoing and deeper collaboration between the schools to promote sustainability of the learning that happened over the life of the contract. The suggested model is to have a whole cluster and small group focus. The schools will meet regularly to maintain a corporate direction for the schools but the focused work will happen in small interest groups who will meet more regularly to give feedback on progress and inspiration and motivation to keep moving forward on common topics of interest.
